It was bandied about that the next Knucklehead get together might be overseas. Although I have a passport, it needs renewing. Anyone else who doesn't have a valid passport and might be pond-hopping in the near future, get one soon. The next model is supposed to have an electronic chip gizmo that will have a lot of private info on it:

"The proposed U.S. Electronic Passport is the same as a regular passport with the addition of a small contactless integrated circuit (computer chip) embedded in the back cover. The chip will securely store the same data visually displayed on the photo page of the passport, and will additionally include a digital photograph. The inclusion of the digital photograph will enable biometric comparison, through the use of facial recognition technology at international borders. The U.S. “e-passport” will also have a new look, incorporating additional anti-fraud and security features.

Passports without chips will still be valid for the full extent of their validity period."

Using the ePassports in conjuction with the new swipe-less electronic recognition readers could make hacking your info way easier than stealing your actual hard copy = scary. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Wow I'd love for the next "do" to be overseas - but I'm determined to go to it whereever it is. We ain't gonna miss out again! :D

Notable courses:

The Moors - Champions Tour stop.
Craft Farms - 2 Arnold Palmer designed courses.
Lost Key Another AP course
Magnolia Grove - Robert Trent Jones golf trail course
Jerry Pate courses - AC Reed, Steelwood, Tiger Point, Pensacola Country Club, Scenic Hills

many many more but I'm to lazy to post........

Jerry Pate and Heath Slocum are our resident golf wizards..... the Gulf Coast is really under rated and undiscovered for the main stream golf crowd.

...if pensacola threw in a classic car show, then I don't think Latvia has a chance!

also, I'm wondering why jchalas is so scared of a passport with a chip in it that is hard to forge!

Pensacola - oh yeah.

I can toss in a family visit, too!

Count me in for P-Cola (if it works out).

Like I wouldn't go to Latvia.
