I dreamt of having a Petrucci Model 7 String in the Music Man Natural Finish and a maple neck. Great dream. Would be cool to someday see it in real life.

I think I may have a problem. While most dudes are dreaming of naked chicks, I'm dreaming of "naked" guitars.

First step is admitting you have a problem I guess.

Curly maple top, black limba body, ebony board, rosewood neck

Unfinished all roasted maple necks on any model. I would instantly drop some for an all roasted maple necked Silhouette, Morse, or Luke. The only reason I haven't bought a Luke III yet is because I am not particularly fond of rosewood fingerboards (though I love the all rosewood neck).

I'd love to see something done with brown. House of Kolor offers a "cocoa pearl" that would look sweet with a roasted maple neck and ebony fretboard. A cocoa pearl JP would look awesome. Or an axis with cocoa pearl back and dark transparent brown top.

I'm pretty sure EBMM uses the Kustom Shop paint system, so I'm sure it would be limited to what colors they offer and they don't offer a brown pearl. But a guy can dream right?

What is wrong with sparkles? Sparkles are great.

Dargie Delight would be awesome!

They can be. I love my JP12. But I feel like every Petrucci that has come out in recent memory -- except the Majesty -- has been in a glittery color. Some of the finishes have been really great. I think the barolo color is probably my favorite. But after a certain point I think it gets tacky. We already have 3 standard JP models in sparkles/glitter. Do we really need every PDN guitar to come out in various shades of sparkles? The green one looked like a St. Patty's Day ornament. Again, I LOVE my JP12-7, but I'm also in the market for a JP 6 string and I just cannot do another glittery guitar. What happened to all of those beautiful quilt finishes? I would kill to get a JPX, 11, 12 or even 13 in a clear finish.
