I just picked up these two beauties yesterday. After playing this JPX black sugar, I cannot believe I haven't seen more threads discussing how cool this finish is or how amazing this guitar sounds. (I definitely prefer it to the jpxi, though the jpxi plays a bit better.)

Yeah ... inquiring minds want to know! Still playing the other one - but I/we/the world needs more :)

Congrats as that is definitely having a great day! I have never seen a stranger finish than BS as it just photographs different in every picture, some look great some look bad. It really is a finish that has to be seen in person, even when I play my AL HH or Roller someone a few feet away will say how cool the finish looks and I look down and see black lol. The quilted T-Black is off the hook!

Thanks for the kind comments about the Speaking to Stones cd. And, yes, finally, we are finishing the second one right now--it's due to the record company by August 15th for a Fall release. This one features Mark Zonder (Fates Warning and Slavior) on drums and Andy Engberg (Section A) on vocals. It's much, much more progressive than the last cd, but, hopefully, it still comes across as soulful and melodic. The cd is called "Elements" and it has five 15-minute tunes: "Earth," "Fire," "Water," "Wind," and "Quinta Essentia." I cannot wait to share this stuff with you guys! Also, as soon as I get my new imac, I'm going to be posting some vids on youtube.

Oh, and I have a jp6 koa coming in on Tuesday!
