Haha, I would have had all 3 of those colors had I been able to swing it. The Axis is a great guitar and I love mine. There is something about the first year (1996) Axis guitars that is just a cut above. Thankfully I kept the gold one... It's been my go to guitar for almost 20 years now... Does EBMM really make a bad guitar?

That sucks about GC losing the trem arm. I'm sure there has to be a way to get that style arm...

Lets see some photos of the gold '96!

I spoke to Jacob at EBMM, he says they have the trem arm assembly, it's $15. Hopefully Guitar Center will order it and I'll be able to use the trem soon!

Looks good. If it plays as good as it looks, I'd say hang onto it.

Thanks, it's definitely a keeper - plays great, very resonant, neck is awesome!

Now I have to decide what to sell :-(

Interesting trivia - my guitar's build date is 1/26/01 - EVH's birthday!!
