Thanks - yeah very unexpected. Swapped a mint Mesa Electra-Dyne bronco tan amp for it. Great amp, just very heavy so I bought the head version as my gigging amp.

I will be very honest - I haven't even plugged into an amp yet - I did get the neck treated and new strings, but ran out of time this past weekend to finish the set up and start playing it. Never enough time.

That being said, I am sure it does - my JPX sounds different that the standard JP
