Really sounds great. It's my second Maj, and I don't know how many JP's I've had over the years. This Viola Artisan was a NAAM piece, have had a great relationship with the EBMM crew for almost ten years.
Acoustically, I think it's the best sounding one I've ever played. Setup out of the case was immaculate, as usual. The engineering on these guitars always blows me away. . . It's really a work of art, all the lines, the way the wood folds into the body, really intricate craftsmanship.
Plugged in, we all know versatile these guitars are. However, for some reason the active pre amp on this one really plays well with my pedal board and amp. Exceptionally well. . .
Neck is terribly fast, and the gold hardware is a really nice touch. Pickups and electronics really spank, and clean up well. The finish is a really subtle, deep purple, unlike my purple tribute. More like a fine wine that you just take a sip of and kind of sit there for a minute to admire. Kind of silly, but only decent analogy I can think of right now.
I'm really happy to share this with everyone, can't wait to see when more players get their hands on them.
And Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!
Great now I have really bad GAS.... I'll be placing an order tomorrow for this exact Guitar... Good thing I have the Arctic Dream Majesty to hold me over.... Congratulations!!!!
Thanks for the love! I've been putting a lot of playing time in on it, certainly some lovely tones living in there. Can't say enough of the amazing craftsmanship
Lifeson1 Thanks for sharing as she is gorgeous. I got word today that the Artisan Morrone will arrive in 7-10 days. Happy Fathers days. I can't wait to lay my eyes, I mean hands on her!
