I actually had the same misadventure. I was looking for a JP guitar but the seller only had one, standing in the shop for over 6months. Unfortunately this guitar was "blue"... so I checked everywhere to find a wooden top JP15 guitar but couldn't find any in stock... Untill I realised this blue guitar was actually the JP15 BB limited edition...
So I bought it; number 258/300.
I still can't believe it was standing there for months with no one buying it. What a luck
