Bought this bad boy used and I must say I am impressed. My first AL and even though the neck is a bit chunkier than my L3 and more C shaped, it didn't take many seconds to get familiar with the neck. This guitar is really forgiving and it more or less plays itself. And the MM90s! Great sounding pickups, more single coil than humbucker and different from P90s on a traditional Les Paul. The AL sounds more strat than my strat does. capture2.jpg

Congrats, great guitar! I just love the sounds you can get from the mm90's. Hold on to that one, cause they will become more rare once discontinued after october.

That one with a tortoise guard and non matching headstock would be a dream come true! Congrats

Something like this? :D

This^^^

I really enjoy playing my mm90 AL, along with the new one I just got (but haven't posted here yet... :) )
Every pup setting and adjusting the tone knob ( especially with dirt..) yields all kinds of fabulous tones. Not much these guitars won't cover.
ENJOY!!!

Great choice, my HH is my no.1 choice but the MM90 runs it close. It does the beautiful piano-like clean thing but can also pack a punch!

Thanks guys. I'm still really enjoying my AL. Aside for some stress cracks in the neck pocket on both sides and some crackling noise from the tone knob it's really mint. Must admit jzeijen's AL above with non matching headstock is looking great.

I am gonna fix the tone knob and set the bridge to float for the Jeff Beckish palm beating on the bridge. This is probably the first time I use the middle pickup frequently, the sound from that pup is great on its own and not just a compromise between bridge and neck. But hey, preaching to the choir here. Anyway, hat's off to EBMM for making great instruments.

Set mine to float early on as well. Super stable and absolutely love it!
Spray a little cleaner in that pot and it should be good as new.
