After ordering my Albert Lee HH on the first of May, it arrived last night!!

I went with the Trans Walnut finish, Black pickguard, and Hardtail bridge.

It's soooooo amazing!! The neck is silky and quick. The tone is incredible and the 5-way selector for the dual humbuckers really gets all sorts of tones I didn't think I would get from the pickup arrangement. Really great!

I have to add...the setup was perfect out of the box. I was at the ready with my feeler gauges and steel rule, but was amazed to find that everything checked out! Even the intonation. I can't say the same for other manufacturers that I've received instruments from lately.

I also didn't realize that EB/MM has been doing compensated nuts. Really nice touch. The instrument sounds really incredible.

One question, does EB/MM not ship any hex wrenches anymore? Was a bit surprised by that.

Of course, no pics, no fun, so here she is.

I couldn't be happier. It was well worth the wait.

Great choice - looks fantastic. As I said recently it;s an instant classic straight out of the box.
I didn't get any hex keys with my ALs either - seems like they stopped shipping them a while ago.

Welcome to the ALOC too!!!

well, i'm not going to say it's my FAV until they offer a PIEZO with it. BUT, I won't be without my seafoam one. EVERYONE who sees it and plays it just adores it. I really will only sell it when the next PDN AL/piezo rad red comes out.

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy with it and can't wait to get it in front of other folks. No doubt, they'll be drooling. ;)
