Always wanted one with a rosewood neck and now I do. Not many Albert Lee guitars in my neck of the woods and bought this one today. Really like the rosewood neck and have missed the MM90 pickups too from a previous AL. I like the simple but really cool look!

Oh man, that's killer. Black, sweet. MM90's, total tone. Rosewood neck, exceptional feel. Pearloid pickguard, the cherry on top! Love it. Congrats.

Thanks to everyone for posting. I really like the rosewood neck and know now what people have been talking about. The combination of the ash body, MM90 pickups and the rosewood neck really creates a well balanced tone. No boomy notes in the lower range and certainly the right amount of snap on the top end.

Great news. Your ALOC membership continues.

The AL in your hands sounds great - hope we get to see a really nice clip of you playing it?

Best guitar ever - game over!!

AL's are amazing! Yours is super lovely, congrats!!
When I picked up an AL in a local GC last year, I couldn't put it down (HH and all rosewood neck). I came back the following day just to play it again. Mind you, I was there putting a down payment on a natural axis thus the reason for the sit-down. I wanted to bring both home, but we're on a budget so there is another lucky fella with a sheet-eatin grin right now.

Congrats! One day I will be joining the ALOC.. you'll see..

I was about to go to our local GC in Mobile to see what was new, but decided to call the GC in Pensacola. Guy said they had two AL's in stock which really surprised me. I told my wife we were going to Pensacola and she was fine with that. The other AL was a HH model that certainly looked prettier but the MM90 just felt a little better. The push/pull tone knob and 5-way switch on the HH was a bit too distracting. The simpler the better for me. Actually a 3-way toggle would suite me just fine. Anyway the guitar is great and I am really glad I have another AL especially a rosewood neck model. There really is something special about these guitars. It is more than the neck shape and unique body......whatever it is.....it works for me!
