Awhile back I posted pics of my new JP6 that I just bought. I mentioned that I traded my older one in a deal for a guitar of another manufacturer. As my good luck these days has it, I have re-obtained my old and faithful JP6 in Radiance Red! Feel like a lucky dad with twins, a blonde and Readhead! LOL!! To have two of these awesome guitars is just fantastic!

I still can remember the first time I saw Radiance Red in person. That finish is ludicrous. Probably the nicestred I've ever seen. Your pictures do a pretty good job of representing it, but with nice variable lighting, the colour pops like nothing else.

Are you going to use both for different tunings?

Definitely considering using them for different tunings, but my current playing doesn't really require anything more than Standard E. But hey, sounds like allot of fun, so I'll likely give it a whirl!

Congrats on finding an old friend. Sometimes you will see in the classifieds of Vintage Guitar some guys looking for there first guitar that they sold over 20 years ago. Unless you sell something to a friend I would find the odds slim to none, though I have read interviews with some well known players that found gear they once owned many years later. In fact Eric Johnson had 3 vintage guitars stolen and was in a store checking out a guitar when he realized it was his and said he ran home as he had the serial numbers written on a police report. He wound up getting all 3 back as some ladies husband died and she brought his guitars to the store to sell. Talk about being lucky.

Fortunately, I traded it to a friend. For some reason, he never really hit it off with the guitar. He's more of a Tele guy these days. Good for me I guess, I missed the guitar so much! Having two is a nice luxury, I won't make the mistake of getting rid of one of them EVER again!:D

smd I figured it was a friend as it is very rare that you sell it to a stranger and ever see it again.I am really happy for you, as not many guys get the chance to regain the one that got away.
