I finally purchased an EBMM with MM90s. Why I haven't before? I've never had an opportunity to play one - was always hesitant to pull the trigger without trying. Well, I shouldn't have been.

I got a "new" guitar in the mail today. It's actually almost 20 years old! And boy has she aged well. ;) It's MM90 loaded and it also has a min switch installed that turns on the bridge pickup no matter what position the selector is in - pretty cool for some extra tones.

I did have a chance to set her up the way I like, plug her in and play quite a bit. Sorry I didn't take any pics. :(

Fortunately, the original owner took a bunch of high quality, very nice photos and sent them to me - so I'll share them with you! :D

COOL!!! GREATEST GUITAR OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can it almost 20 years old though? MM90's didnt get introduced until 1998/99 I thought????

Well, that's easy to explain. See, "2" is right next to "1" on the keyboard, and the same fat fingers that make playing even simple guitar parts a challenge for me, well, they make typing even harder! Especially on an iPad!:eek:

So yeah, it's almost TEN years old. Will be this September. My bad.

And yeah, this thing totally rocks. The MM90s are really something special. I was nervous initially- when I first plugged it in, it sounded a bit lifeless and dull. I then set it up to my liking with some fresh 10-52s and man - it came alive! Loving these pickups. Just stunning.

You will just die for the MM90 AL.

When you're dead can I have that AL?

Please?

Great color, and love the dirty maple (as usual). Congrats. I had MM90's on an Axis Sport awhile back....they rock! Even better on an Al.

Greg, congrats man, AL MM90 are sweet and to score a Autumn Redburst one is a bonus!!!! You gotta change those pup covers to white though man, it looks so much cleaner, IMHO.
