Hi Everyone,

Just received this ASS MM90 that I bought from GC. Price was okay but it had the features I like, including hardtail, rosewood board, and sunburst finish. The top is just stunning and it weighs a tad less than 7lbs. It sounds and plays great--the MM90s have a nice, almost Tele-like edge to them, which works for me. Really pleased!

Joe

PS, Why aren't the caps preserved in thread title? Looks funny...

Nice! I’ve owned a few P90 guitars but never got along well with them. I hear others play them and they sound awesome - I play them and they never sound right. Yet I keep buying them hoping one day it’ll all click....

This is my first guitar with P90s. It fills a space between HB and single coil equipped guitars. FWIW, I play through a Fractal AX8/Yamaha DXR 10 and found a few amp models that work well with the ASS MM 90, especially Austin Buddy’s Dumble and Suhr Badger presets.

Keep in mind that the EBMM MM90's are not your everyday P90's... the MM90's are special in a great way!

Very true. I've had a similar experience...never found a P90 equipped guitar that I simply loved the sound of (including a vintage LP Junior)...the MM90 is a completely different experience.
That being said, Inswapped the bridge pup in mine, so I have a MM90 bridge pickup sitting around if you wanna try it out...

Same here, though I really like the bridge pickup for some reason. The neck pickup is okay but I have to get used to the fact it ain't gonna sound like a humbucker...
