I've cleaned the neck (purchased and used Birchwood-Casey tru-oil and gunstock wax) and it looks almost brand new. Got polish in today and some actual nut sauce as well. Changing strings and polishing all guitars tonight while watching Fringe and assorted sci-fi movies.

Picked my amp up from the shop Saturday. Mesa Express 1x12. I haven't had anything but a practice amp since I got the guitar.

I have 2 Schecter C-1 Classics, Fender USA Strat and Carvin DC-135 now this Axis. Quite a difference. I warmed up and tested out the amp with one of my Schecters and after about 30 minutes I switched to the Axis. Like taking the donut off the baseball bat....all of a sudden I had POWER. Really those pickups smoke and so much sustain. I plugged in an Akai Headrush and lost myself in looping for awhile.
Well....it's everything I hoped it would be, my new #1.
