Texas Finally!
All right enough of my teases here it is, the last green Axis tribute:D:cool:

While yes I am not a big floyd fan I could not resist:eek:

Between me having a weak spot for geen guitars and some good and wise advice from Derek, plus some good salesmanship from Derek and Glen I brought this one home to mi casa:)
This is a beautiful guitar with a killer birdseye neck and fretboard, my pics do not show it well at all.

I was not going to get one but glad I did. Thanks to Derek,Glen, Robbie for hooking me up with this guitar and some goodies!!

If you are on the fence get it now. OK a few pics.

Keith,
Nice job, it's a beautiful guitar. The only thing that kept me from jumping into the fray is the floyd. I've had a couple and just can't deal with them. Now if there was a hardtail version of the tribute, it would have been a no brainer.

Anyhow, congrats, enjoy it...

So tasty, I just want to lick it! One, of many, nice things about the Axis is that the trem sits on the body. Takes so much of the tuning headache out of the picture when compared to a fully floating trem.

Nice looking guitar!

I'm confused though, I thought you made a big deal about not getting one because you didn't like floyd's?

Still, you picked up a great looking guitar though. Wish they were available over here...

Wow. Nice neck on that one, Keith.

Mine has a nice top, but my neck wood is lightly figured (read: boring).
However, this Axis Tribute is super light, and resonates so well.

But, I can't get my Floyd to swing freely. I like to use it, and let it drop out of my way. Help???

Huge congrats Keith, it's a stunner! Great colour and plenty of birdseye...lovely!
The back looks almost black in that one picture...I suppose the brown is quite dark?

Oh, and I was very happy with my brown back, as it is much darker than in the pics I'd seen. It is more of a dark chocolate.

Congrats Keith, she's a beaut! I'm a bit confused like Jimmy with your decision on getting another Axis with a Floyd:confused:. Will this one be a collection piece/case queen? You do have plenty of cool guitars to play.

BTW, how does she compare to your past Axis guitars with Floyds and the new PRS guitars, build and sound quality wise?
