Loving my new axis! Found it for sale close to home. Plays as good as she looks! I can't get enough of it, best feeling neck I've played. Also the best pickups I've ever played, geez this thing has everything I'd want in a rocker. Even with 9's it stays perfectly in tune. Wish I would have tried one of these years ago. Thanks Larry, you were absolutely correct! I love it!

Here is another pic, sexy neck for real! Does anyone know what the frets are made of?

Congrats, Billy. That's a beauty! The D Tuna is a great addition to an axis...it stays in tune perfectly for those drop D moments. Enjoy!

Sweet score! I keep thinking about getting an axis, but I'm currently overrun with "strat" and "superstrat" style guitars.

Good choice OP. Yes, indeed about the neck when I am asked why I picked an Axis without question it was the neck. Not too thick not too thin yet feels just right. I especially love the neck joint feels smooth as a neck through.

Enjoy your axe sir.

That's a very nice flame! Congrats on the guitar.
Where would we all be if we stopped at just one?

No kidding! I still can't believe how this thing blows my amp up! The sounds are just pure ecstasy. Its still snappy when you turn the volume control down too. No tone control is awesome, definitely keeps it lively and bright. through my electradyne(which is quite bassy) the axis is a perfect sonic match. I'm giving it a 10 in my book.

Congrats dude! I wouldn't be the same player today if I didn't pick up axis few years ago.
They completely changed my approach to the instrument, those necks just make you
play better.
Whether it's a floyd, vintage trem or hardtail version they always leave everything else behind!
