Smoking BFR JP6, and it even looks like it could stop a bullet, lol as that is some piece of Koa. Yes Scoob it is close between Mike and Slav, and I think they have the same amount of balls.

I guess the pics are getting better, but really there is only so much I can do with that camera. Some of the pics here on the site are (IMHO) "Studio Quality" and I hope to be able to do that someday, but I think I am missing the most important tools......Knowledge and understanding.........

Anyway, thanks again for the compliments on this guitar. Since getting the JPX I have really bonded more with the JP neck profile. While I love my RW JP6 it was the JPX that made me "fall in love"......I was curious about the BFR with it's slightly different body shape and then the coil tap as well so I set up to be casually on a search for one.

One thing I really liked about the JPX was the ebony fretboard, so the Koa was a good fit there.

I stumbled across this one by luck and pulled the trigger.

I must say this guitar is stunning in person, as usual the fit and finish are perfect and the tone coming out of this thing is absolutely amazing.

So the story isn't much different than the other guitars in my collection. I am never really actively on the search for anything but I guess always sort of ready in case something does.

That being said, I am also never actively selling something either but always open to talking about it......I do have have to say that I am really attached to the guitars in my EBMM collection so it would have to be a pretty good argument/reason for me to give one up......:)

Koa's really are a sight to behold, and yours is proof of that! Congrats.
If you part with the bfr y2d... I want to be first in line ;)

Sorry Headstock, can't do that as 1-2 others have shown interest in it so the "first in line" spot is taken, but if (and that's a big if) I am ready likely you would be the first to pull the trigger anyway .........

Now, if your RW Olive Gold Morse has a floyd I guess we could start talking..........;)
