Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone...
Here's a delayed NGD, as I've had her for about a week. I sold off my last two p.wolfs and picked up a NOS Black Magic Crystal Axis...the last one on the g.c. platnium website.
"But Bryan, you already have a Black Sugar Axis, so why???"
I know, the colors seem similar, but the Crystal has a maple neck and fretboard versus the Sugar's roasted maple neck and ebony fretboard. The difference between an ebmm sugar and a crystal is pretty significant. The sugar has much smaller and fewer flakes in the paint. The Black Magic looks almost steel grey.
I've already given her the Tollie treatment: an evh D-Tuna, a brass spring claw, and noiseless springs from floydupgrades.com. (I would like to note that the spring claw ebmm uses is alot nicer than alot of other companies out there are using). Breaking away from my usual animal print DiMarzio Clip-Lock straps, I've gone with the super-limited Joe Satriani chromed leather model. I wanted to accent the chrome pickups covers and hardware. Dr. Kev, I await your input, my good man.

Bryan, that is so cool! Congratulations!! (And I like the strap more with this one that the other two). (quote pulled from prior thread)
