Well, Ordered immediately upon hearing the announcement (sept). HH model

Watched everyone get theirs around thanksgiving.

Went to my man Tom in Dec who called AJ on the phone and I heard. "uh huh...uh huh... hmmmmm... uh huh"

apparently the order was futzed up somewhere along the line. Never fear EBMM made it right!!! And it came in on Dec 27, which was shipped to me, BUT>>>

I was leaving for a 3 week trip to FLORIDA (from the polar vortex zone). I left on Jan 3. The guitar arrived Jan 4. That means I had to wait until YESTERDAY to see it. All i can say is:::

TOTALLY, TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT! holy crap, MM got this model right mistah. Sounds like a piano unplugged, stays in tune like a rock, neck plays 80 mph, All 5 toggle stops have a new sound, the boost slays, and the cardinal red is S T U N N I N G.

Rad Rad ultimately has been my favorite color. This is RR on steroids.

and the roasted neck plays like glass.

I realize this sounds corny, but I've ordered 7 new EBMM. lukes, alberts and JPs. this is the ultimate combination of all 3. The speed of the JP and great bridge and tuning stability, neck and sexy styling of the luke, and the sonic flexibility of the AL, throw in that boost and the preamp that makes the tones just fly out of the guitar, sweet pickups, my sexy RR upgrade and I have a true GAS killer.

If you remember Danny, I bought the Candy Red Luke with piezo bridge from you a few years back. I sold it a couple of years back and have since bought a Silhouette Special, an AL HH, and now I'm rocking a LIII. I agree 100% with your sentiments that the LIII is a great combination of everything.
