I seriously don't have much time nowadays to post the NGDs as I used to but I'm going to try and be a little more mindful of that set aside time to photograph the gear I get and post it up haha. Here's pictures of the JPX, review after the pics!

Review:
So this is the JPX in the limited edition Cardinal Red Sparkle Finish they featured for their PDN dealers not too long ago. It's one of the most photogenic colors I've ever seen and it's absolutely stunning. The X series is my favorite JP in the entire line so this being a JPX put the icing on the cake for me.

This guitar came loaded with a pair of Nailbombs with Gold pole pieces, the NBs are my favorite BKPs and they sound absolutely amazing in this guitar. Really crushing rhythm tone without sounding too offensive or harsh in either the treble or mid spectrums. The low end on the guitar is huge and sticks out wonderfully even with such a tight and bright pickup in the bridge. I'm thinking something else might have suited the neck pickup better, but the neck pickup still sounded great.

Just as well made as the several other EBMMs I've had the privilege of owning. Consistently awesome and well made. Since I've owned so many of these I don't have a long review to contribute but it's still worth mentioning that it was in fact a great guitar. Neck was finished in Satin by the previous owner and I might be doing the same to my JPX7 but for now that feels just fine with the gloss finish on it :D

Hope you liked it! More to come, at least 8 of my guitars haven't had a NGD. I'll bang those out super soon!

Seen lots of the cardinal reds, and I gotta say that JPX is the nicest of any of them.

Maybe it was the pics you took. Beautiful guitar, congrats.

Yes the black hardware makes it deadly. I have a jp13 in cardinal red and it's my fave.

Yeah I got a Jpx a few months ago and At the beginning I was kind of not impressed, but Im loving it more and more day by day and I can almost say it's the definitive neck profile for me. I have tried many different necks, a lot of them good but this is just awesome and I have small hands, the first time I did read the measures I tought a 43mm nut width was going to be a huge neck, thick and tall, but it's not, it's slim and comfortable all along. The pickup switch is really in an weird spot but I'm getting used to it.

Mine is a Jpx special edition black sugar with a roasted maple neck. It's finished but the feeling is the same of the jps with painted neck like the jp12. I believe unfinished just with the wax like the Lukes would be a better choiche, I might make this mod with a very competent luthier and guitar builder that I know.

Im curious to test the jp12 with the 20" radius and 13/15 with 17" to determine what neck radius is better for me but generally Speaking as I said I'm very happy with my grip and playability like never before.

I saw this over at SS. LOVE the new pups. Those gold pieces just make the guitar complete. Great score man. And really nice playing!
