Really nice guitar. Of course fit and finish are perfect. Playability 10/10. I am a sucker for a natural finish guitar so of course that's what did me in. I also wanted an HSS for my small collection and of course none better IMHO. The trem is the most stable non-locking trem I've ever had. The ceramic humbucker is just right. Goes great with some higher gain chuggage when the urge hits. Cleans up nicely as well. This thing can do most. Amazing. Loving it. Pics:

love the pearloid stuff. Thinking blue or purple. Or, maybe black would look cool with the black hardware. Thoughts? I am open to suggestions.

Wow. That's just gorgeous.

The blue pearl PG would be my thought. Or black pearl.

Black ice pickguard could work, but yeah, black pickguard of any type would be cool. Either way I also think it looks great as is. Enjoy that beauty in good health

I would go with black pearl. And I would call Music Man customer service and get a set of black knobs of pickup covers.
Great advice from the good Dr.!! Question - did you mean black knobs AND pickup covers? It never occurred to me to change out the pickup covers and cover the HB pickup as well. That's a great idea! Thanks!

I'm with Kev. Though I'd probably go with a flat black pickguard, and a chrome cover on the humbucker (just because I like that one to stand out). Black knobs and lever switch tip are key though :)

Congrats, that's a really sweet one-off! The natural transparent ash has a real 70's vibe. I have a Jazz Bass with that same exact finish. I love a good see-thru finish on an ash body. Very well done!

As far as pickguards-- black might look cool, but I think the white already looks right to me.
