Hah! Nice, glad to see I converted a couple folks over to "the dark side"... also good to see others digging it, it's always a little weird making a change like this because it's a little jarring at first after being used to the original look etc. Anyway, glad I did it... I may actually grab a black/grey pearloid guard down the road as well and see how that works out... I also may just go nuts and pick up one of those Smoked Chrome BFR HSS Cutlasses and call it a day, if I can ever get my hands on one! :)

May I suggest giving consideration to a black ice pickguard

Oddly, I had one of those on an P90 Albert Lee in a similar Charcoal colour, still have an autographed version of that guard kicking around somewhere (the guitar had 2 Black Ice guards)! I liked it but not sure I'd purposefully install one, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider it when deciding what to get for the Cutlass, as I knew what to expect already visually and it looks good etc... more of a been there done that kinda deal for me I guess!

Graphite Pearl was the official name. They always looked great with a Black Ice PG.

I've got a firemist silver coming in June, and i've been contemplating putting a black ice on that (plus black knobs and covers). I love the white ice on my vintage turquoise.
