Hey All,

Well as a long time PRS collector and player, I pulled the trigger on a Christmas sale from Willcutt Guitars in KY and went for something new. This is my first 7-string and my first Music Man guitar. Comming from my PRS guitars, I am blown away by the quality and play-ability. Not that my PRS guitars are bad by any means, just I was surprised at how comfortable and how similar the neck profile is to my favorite wide thin neck profile on all my PRS guitars. There wasn't really any "getting used to" period. Ergonomics on the JP7 are just lovely and its super comfortable to play. Trem is just as stable as the PRS trem and stays in tune awesome. Not to mention it sounds huge and is super loud unplugged. In the past I had played some Sterling models at my local guitar shop and was less than impressed which kindof turned me off the brand for a long while. There wasn't really an opportunity locally to try a USA EBMM since no shops around me carry them, only Sterling. In the end I'm very happy with my decision and already GASing for another...specifically a Majesty 7 in black frosting hahaha. I may have a problem SMH...
