Well she's here now!
Awesome, AWESOME guitar... as usual, EBMM does not disappoint!
Plays just as great as any other JP7 with a slightly smoother feel IMO. The rosewood neck is perfect, I loved the streaky stuff that lefty got on his SS JP6 but this thing looks like a slab of dark chocolate! lol I think the rosewood neck warms up the tone a bit too which is cool. Very happy camper, I have a DiMarzio Evolution 7 bridge on the way in to fix my only gripe with the JP model (not a fan of the D-Sonic 7 in basswood) and then it will be perfect!
Now, on to the pics!
I plan on taking some outdoor shots to capture the MD finish a bit better (you get to see the full spectrum of the finish with good sunlight, brings out some of the reds that you miss indoors rather than just mostly green-purple) this week so stay tuned for some better pics. I need to get another card for my Nikon Digi-SLR since they will definitely be sharper than the above I took with my point-and-shoot digital.
Thanks for looking gents! Just wanted to shoot out another huge thanks to A.J. @ EBMM Customer Service for managing to track down one of these for me as well as answering my slew of questions and Brian Meader @ Washington Music Center for both ordering this guitar to begin with but also for being the cool guy he is. If this option returns again I would almost be tempted to grab another one, or perhaps a full-on BFR BFR!
