Well she's here now! :D Awesome, AWESOME guitar... as usual, EBMM does not disappoint! Plays just as great as any other JP7 with a slightly smoother feel IMO. The rosewood neck is perfect, I loved the streaky stuff that lefty got on his SS JP6 but this thing looks like a slab of dark chocolate! lol I think the rosewood neck warms up the tone a bit too which is cool. Very happy camper, I have a DiMarzio Evolution 7 bridge on the way in to fix my only gripe with the JP model (not a fan of the D-Sonic 7 in basswood) and then it will be perfect! :D Now, on to the pics!

I plan on taking some outdoor shots to capture the MD finish a bit better (you get to see the full spectrum of the finish with good sunlight, brings out some of the reds that you miss indoors rather than just mostly green-purple) this week so stay tuned for some better pics. I need to get another card for my Nikon Digi-SLR since they will definitely be sharper than the above I took with my point-and-shoot digital. :) Thanks for looking gents! Just wanted to shoot out another huge thanks to A.J. @ EBMM Customer Service for managing to track down one of these for me as well as answering my slew of questions and Brian Meader @ Washington Music Center for both ordering this guitar to begin with but also for being the cool guy he is. If this option returns again I would almost be tempted to grab another one, or perhaps a full-on BFR BFR!

Thanks guys, I spent about 4-5 hours playing her last night.... simply AWESOME guitar!

Wow. If you EVER decide to sell this guitar, please PM me...

There's like 3 other people in line begging me to sell it them already! I've moved quite a few pieces of gear in my time but this one is pretty special so it's only going to get sold if I have some sort of financial crisis. It definitely sounds unique! :D

I'm not begging you to sell it. Keep it and play the heck out of it :D Just if you ever decide you want to sell it, I'm here.

Haha I meant three of my friends, I wasn't saying you were! It's been a few months since I had a JP in my place, the fretwork on the EBMM stuff is outstanding! Not sure why other brands don't have this kind of attention to detail on production guitars... :p

That's the difference between a real person finishing the frets and a machine finishing them.

Yeah I mean even compared to some of the Ibanez Prestige stuff where the frets are finished/level by hand, the edges and crowns are nicer on the EBMM. Balled fret ends are your friend! :D
