Wow congratulations on that beauty! The neck looks painted and if so, that would be a minor complaint but that guitar is amazing.
I agree with the24thfret though, if that was also in Mystic Dream then that would be the best guitar ever. For me its still my good old JP6 :D

Hey Mike, way to go, it's a beauty. I didn't realize that the back of the neck was finished too... wow. Sparkles everywhere.

So play it already and let us know how it sounds, Pete was just noodling around with it, unleash the beast! :D just messing with ya Pete...

Thanks again guys. You are correct, the entire guitar has the same sparkly finish. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet, but at least initially, the painted neck feels much better than my LP with nitro - so I'm optimistic that it won't suffer from the typical 'sticky' stigma associated with painted necks. I really love EBMM's polyester finishes...

As far as good sound clips, it's doubtful. My weekend is going to be fairly busy, and I don't really play that well anyway. However, if I get the chance to pull together a few samples, I will.

Wow....I wish I could respond adequately. Unfortunately I'm at work, and will be for several more hours, so it will be a while before I can even attempt to give it some attention. However, I will say this - in the 5 min I spent playing with it last night, the neck and larger frets feel REAL nice. I think I'm going to like this thing....

The thing that surprised me the most was the weight. I'll be interested to know if you notice the same.

OK. This thing is LIGHT! I love it! And it resonates sort of like the 25th.

I can't wait to hear it plugged into my Mark V...or even my Line6 Spider Valve.

Sound clips later if I have the time...

Very cool - now I know it's not just mine. I didn't get a chance to play a 25th, so this will be as close as I get for a while! :)

Do you like the larger frets?

Haven't had much time with it yet. I typically like larger frets, though. Makes the action feel lower.

All I can say is...WOW. I just spent another hour and a half with my new monster. It is hands down, the best guitar I've ever owned. I LOVE the body shape, tone, weight, color and best of all, the PAINTED NECK. This thing is absolutely amazing. I found my new number 1....the rest are going back in their cases.

Thanks again to EBMM and Pete for delivering on this wonderful instrument!!
