NGD for the new guy!!

So after pulling my hair out trying to decide which JP guitar would best for me, I decided on the JPXI. I placed my order for the last one in stock at American Musical Supply on Monday and it just arrived this morning. I also have a question regarding temperature change and leaving the guitar in the box while warming up. Is that something I should be worried about or is that only with certain finishes?

Whenever I get a new guitar in the winter (I live in Maine, so its usually at or below freezing), I take the case out of the box and leave it for an hour or so, then I prop the lid slightly (very slightly!) ajar to let the warm air in for a couple hours. Then it's usually okay to take it out. However, my Dad leaves his closed in the case overnight to warm up. Neither of us have ever had any issues.

I guess I better let it acclimate more because the box is still a bit cold. Thanks for the tip and there will be pics coming soon!

It was kinda hard to capture the color especially when you are no good at taking pictures. I noodled around for a few mins. but I cant get too loud as it was getting late but tomorrow is another day
