Hello all!
It's been a while since I posted on here, but I'm back with a NGD! I went to my local GC and traded some guitars that had been in their cases for a while, and while I was there I saw a shiny new JP6 in the STUNNING Sky Blue finish. Out of all the JP guitars I've played (including JPXI, JP12, JP BFR 6, etc.) this is the BEST one I've ever laid hands on. But without further ado, here are some glamor shots!

That's a REALLY Cool Color! Haven't seen many Guitars in this Finish, but it's pretty stunning.
My only problem would be, that I'd wanna bite into it, since it looks kinda "Candyish"
I wonder how this would look with Gold Hardware and a Roasted Neck?

Drool..... Dude that is a stellar looking guitar. I just picked up a new mystic dream. It's a classic color and one of the 'must haves' for me but this sky blue really is something else!

Interestingly, they had a Mystic Dream JP6 at my local GC too. The color is amazing, but it was an older model that definitely did not have stainless steel frets and had seen some serious shop wear. The real "Belle of the Ball" so to speak was the Albert Lee that they had in Turquoise Pearl with the rosewood neck. I swear that will be my next guitar!

Congrats! It's amazing what the standard loaded JP6's can do. Of all the JP BFR's that I've owned and played, including the JPX, XI's, I still to this day prefer the standard JP's. It just proves EBMM quality is top notch with everything this company does regardless of the model. Also, just to clarify, I totally enjoyed very much 'any' BFR and JPX, XI, etc that I've ever lay my hands on.

I agree that all of the BFR's (BFR 6, JPX, JPXI, JP12) are outstanding, but I think I agree with you that I still prefer the standard JP6 over them!

Nice! I have 3 JP6's, ones a BS Roasted, Dargie II, Tangerine Pearl and a newly aquired Olive Gold in transit to me, I would agree I like the standard JP6's better than the BFR's but I love the ebony boards as well, can't go wrong either way :)

I know what you mean, ebony is my go to fretboard wood. In fact, I'm considering a JP6 Stealth in the near(ish) future.

Also, I wouldn't mind seeing some glamour shots of the tangerine pearl finish. That color intrigues me!
