The guitar came out of the bag bang on in tune. Neck is dead straight, intonation is perfect, no buzzing frets, a perfectly symmetrical quilt and a little bit of figuring in the neck.

The amp is fricken loud for a 5w tube. 16 amp voicings + some cool effects.

that guitar looks familiar, like I have seen it before . . .

Glad you got the guitar Jeff. That should be a fun little rig to jam on.

Enjoy!

Glad things are lookin' up for ya, Jeff. Damn!! Very nice new AX40. I've gotta tell ya the quality on these Sterlings is pretty damn good. I was in a guitar shop and took a quick glance at what I thought were a couple of Axis models. They were actually AX40's. They look really good too. Congrats on the new guitar and amp.

P.S Congrats to Pat and his team for putting out these quality instruments

Wow mate. Let us know how she plays.

J

I actually owned a trans gold AX40 last year. I sold it along with an Axis when money was really tight.

Without a lie, if the neck was birdseye you would swear your playing an Axis. It looks like an Axis in every way and it feels to be the same weight as my Axis’s. Mind you I have never played through a big rig so I can’t compare the pups. I don’t gig so I don’t need much amp.

Nice NGD! I'm happy for you all around. When I'm in Dallas, maybe one of F'ing's guitars will "accidently" come up to Canadiania.....eh?

It's all looking up, my friend!
