Hi fellow Knuckleheads,
just wanted to share my excitement about my new to me ball.
I was able to snag a used but nearly new JP 6 fully loaded in Olive Gold on ebay Germany this last sunday. Nobody but me seemed to want that beauty, so I got it for the starting price which was quite reasonable. Though it was a three and a half hour drive I opted for lokal pick up. So I got the cash from the ATM and did a little road trip with my girlfriend on sunday afternoon. It was bad weather but we got back home safely at midnight. I must say, the guitar was worth it! Olive Gold is such a cool colour; sad that it is discontinued. This colour always seemed to somehow attract me. Playing mostly my lukes I have to get used a little to the different neck profile of the JP but it is not bad, just a little different. Actually it is just cool to have added something different to my arsenal. Yesterday was cleaning and setup day and hopefully I will have time tonight for extended playing!

I have the same color (and fully loaded like yours)
I wasn't very happy when a I bought it with the color, and the problem is the pics.
pics do no justice to this superb color!

As for the pickups, I really don't know. I've already put the SN in the specific SN thread for the date of birth but there is no answer yet.
I suppose it has the D-Sonic/Custom combo in it. But I'm no JP expert. I am, or should I say was, more into the luke.

That really is such a nice color! I would have loved a LUKE in that color. I cant believe that majority of people are so boring and just stick to the standard colors...no offense to those colors of course or anyone that gets em hehe. I honestly think this is one of THE coolest EBMM solid pearl colors ever offered, but again thats just my opinion.

A Luke in this colour would be cool as well. I used to drool over the Olive Gold Luke with the BFR rosewood neck Pete D. had in stock some time ago. That was a killer!

I will do an updated family shot when my ASS is back from repairs. It had a little piezo problem. For now, you'll have to be pleased with the old family pic in my user album.

Now I know...

...what pickups it has.
According to the DOB (December 1st, 2009) from the S/N-Thread it is supposed to be loaded with Crunchlab and Liquifire pickups.
