Negative things sometimes lead into positve things...
Had to sell my PDN14 Y2D, i loved the look of it, but had some pain in my left hand while playing it....so i thought - ok, let her go!

And now? What's next? A Majesty? A Blueberry JP15? Waiting for JP16?...
During all those thoughts, i stumpled across a used BFR JP6...a players guitar, but it has a nice quilttop...why not?
Have had a BFR blackburst in the past - some of you will remember - it was a great sounding guitar, so i jumped on this train.

It came in yesterday...gave it a propper clean and refreshed the fretboard...set it upmwith cobalt 10-52s on drop-D and while the strings were removed, changed the PUPs to the CL/LF combo right away. The guitar sound much better with these as with the DSonic.

Really happy now :)

O.k. enough talk, here are pictures....

Congrats Joe, Nice catch! Real beauty

Too bad about the Y2D but when you don't bond with a guitar you better let her go.

The others are perfect. I coulnd't figure out what the difference was...tried different adjustments, but nothing worked out well.
Never had this with any EBMM before, this was the first time...and then with a Y2D....tztztztz :)
But the BFR is a great to forget all the hassle ;)

And guess what, there will be another guitar comming in in a few days :D

Really nice Joe, congrats! You're right, if a guitar doesn't suit you then what's the use in keeping it, even if it's your favourite model.
