Here it is!

I don't have great lighting right now, so it is a bit dark.

This is the one-off from the NAMM show that was listed in the blog.

The color is officially listed as "Island Burst," although it looks nearly identical to Marrone. Not that there is anything wrong with that!

As far as I can tell so far, it is perfect. I can't want to get home later to play it.

It looks as if the koa top is only in the middle portion where the laser etching typically is... is that correct? I'd love to see a full koa top on these with no discernible outline where the laser etching typically is.

Regardless, beautiful score there!

Yes, instead of the laser-etched maple, it has a koa insert.

I would think they would have to redesign the tooling to make it any different.

Had a little bit of time to play it when I got home.

Wow.

I was expecting there to be some signs of handling, it having been on display. There really isn't, though. It is easily the nicest guitar I have ever acquired with regard to condition. I absolutely love the look, especially the special koa insert.

Playing-wise, it is amazing. It just feels so much better than any other guitar I have ever played. The body contours are nice. I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and any sharp edges on the body of the guitar where my right arm lays can cause discomfort. With the Majesty, everything is comfortable. The neck is fast and smooth.

The only issue is that I am going to be scared I am going to injure it when I play it :)

To sum up: Wow.
