So I actually went ahead and corrected the slight shift the neck had. The pics made it look worse than it was, but there definitely was slight shifting. I followed Dr. Kev's video, and I think I could have corrected a bit more, but I was putting enough pressure on the neck to correct it and was afraid that putting too much force behind it could cause damage. It seems the strings are now better inlined with the fretboard markers, and the high E now seems to have about the same clearance as the low E (minus the whole string thickness thing).
