This just got in. A mint condition JP6 in mystic dream (matching headstock) this one doesnt have a piezo, but i really would never use that, so for me this is actually a good thing.
This is by far the most FUN guitar i have ever played. It plays soo easy, super low action, smooth trem, super fast neck, ... and that forearm scoop is soo comfy!! I absolutely love it. These older pickups are one of the best metal pickups ive ever heard, cant really figure out why they where changed to cl/lf...
Annyway, another great addition to my ebmm family.
Sorry for the crappy cellphone pics but i can not put this guitar down :)

Used to have one just like it. Ended up selling it after many years to get my koa BFR JP. I think the custom Dimarzio pickups in that old JP might have been the greatest pups ever made. Congrats on the new axe.

Such a cool color - you going to rock it on stage? The crowd (OK, guitarists in the crowd) goes bonkers over the color shifting.

As for now i've got no band that i play guitars in, only bass. So for now it's just for me. To be honest i'm not the best guitar player out there, i just enjoy playing on my own. And this guitar will be with me for a while, it just blows me away! There is not a single thing i don't like about this one. The neck, body, the trem, tuners, the overall sound, pickups, ..... it's perfect for me!

Congrats, great guitar. I still have my old JP7 (pearl redburst) with the old Dimarzio's in it. Mine is a little beat up unfortunately :(

This is quite the mistery guitar :p
Made in 2006, it all checks out. But it should have 2nd gen. pickups....
Ok, someonne could have replaced them by 1st genearation pickups, but the ellectronics look untouched, looks totally factory.
However i am super happy with these pickups so i don't really care. I love it!
