It's great. That's it. Great deal on a second hand but mint Pearl Redburst (mhmm... red). She's pretty as can be.
Neck is thinner than I like but the profile is VERY comfy; I oiled and waxed it and it was a little rough. It's like a lubed-up highway now.
Now here's the thing; I don't use trems much, and I have a spare tremol-no. I've not yet re-strung/taken it apart, I was just wondering if someone here had tried it?
Another thing; I've used to Strat trems or non-recessed Floyds, and I put in a thick cloth or sock between the trem and guitar to prevent marring the finish. Looks this can't really happen on the JP6; do you guys simply let it rest in its cavity and be pulled by the springs away from the posts?
