After chewing out the shipping company it finally arrived.

Very nice case, opened it up, stunning guitar.

Pick it up, feels nice, wish i could say it played like dream but apparently it was set up by a f(*&king monkey. Ellaways music in brisbane, australia did this seeing as i asked them to make sure it had a setup done, new strings etc seeing as i was buying it remotely ( sight unseen ). Lower frets are almost 100% buzz. Its just very dissapointing.

Apart from that sounds and plays brilliantly, love it. Piezo is beautiful ( as long as im not playing on the lower frets atm

Also, they didnt bother to include the trem bar... and im not sure but is there a tool for changing the piezo mix options on the back, if so its not there either. Im guessing the toolbag just isnt there.

First EBMM guitar, it is quite beautiful, unfortunatly NGD semi ruined due to incompetence from Ellaways and the shipping company :(

Sigh.

Hey, don't let it ruin "all" the joy!!! It's a great guitar and the things you mentioned (even though they should have been done right) are very easy to resolve.

Just let the store know that it's not the way to do business, customers (and EBMM), if what is said is true, don't appreciate it.

Unfortunately not all NGDs are brilliant, would be nice if they were though.

Just the inept drivers at the shipping company, no trem & or toolbag ( i assume there is supposed to be some tools for bridge adjustment? ) and the terrible, terrible setup, makes for a dissapointing NGD.

So now i have to do a re setup. The neck seems to be leaning forward too much yet still the lower frets are buzzing. So i think a truss rod + string height mod are in order.

Yet i dont have the right tools for the job.

Is anyone able to give me the specific dimensions for the hex for the bridge/saddle height?

My charger is in the mail ... LOL

(I'll rescind my heckling when the pics are posted ;))

On a more serious note, major congrats on an awesome guitar, and once you get that baby properly set up, loooook out! The first Ball is never the last.

Looking forward to those pics.

Hahaha. Got the exact same guitar (my first ball) a couple of weeks ago and did just that. Phone pics look terrible especially with such an "impossible to capture accurately finnish". Mine came with minor fret buzz but it doesn't bother me all that much. It plays like an absolute dream and the sounds you can get out of it seem to be limitless. Glad you like the sound and playability. Once you get it set up right for you and have a good amount of playing time on it, you will come to love it as much as I do.
