Woah!

So, I had no idea this was going to happen. I contacted Pete about buying a JPX or BFR in the roasted maple/black sugar combo about a week ago. I went into guitar center today for some strings, and of course they had a JPX hanging on the wall. After much deliberation and a phone call to my wife (who very uncharacteristically said "you should get it") I came home today with a brand new JPX.

Sorry Pete - after playing that thing, I had to have it...it was just too great to pass up. I took an iphone picture and although it IS the iphone 4, it still isn't as great as it could be. Hopefully I can take it outside on the next nice day and get some glimmer shots! Thanks Music Man for making such a fantabulous instrument!!!

Better pictures coming, I promise...oh, and is the date on the COA the birthdate?

Congrats on the guitar.

I was 100% considering a JPX before I found my BFR but one thing that always concerned me was the black hardware. To existing JPX owners...do you worry about this...especially on the upper part of the bridge where hand contact will inevitably wear the finish down?
Were the JPX to have come with (optional) chrome h/w I may have pulled the trigger.

These still arent the greatest, but they're better than nothing.
