Over the past year I've been on a guitar buying binge! I started off with a MM Luke, JP6 and then got away from MM with a Gibson LP Trad Pro, Fender Hot Rod 57 strat and a PRS DGT just to name a few. I initially tried a JP BFR that belonged to a guy who was selling it and I loved it! Then after I said I'll take it, he had a change of heart. I ended up with a basic JP6 without the piezo and was very happy with it. I was shocked by how much I loved the neck! It was not at all what I was accustomed to but it just played like butter.
Anyway, long story short is that I went through all of these other guitars and enjoyed them, but that JP neck just ruined me! I recently saw one on ebay for a great price and grabbed it. Two days with it now and I am just blown away by it. This neck is just made for me and I'm also loving the tones from this thing. The JP is a very versatile guitar to say the least.
Now that I've been through so many guitars recently, my only gas is for another JP
. I'm thinking of trying one of the newest models when available.
