I had a standard Luke, a while back.
I let it go, as it didn't suit the music was playing, at the time.
It always kind of grated with me though. Letting such an amazing guitar go.
Well times change and I'm playing different material.
So when I went looking for a new guitar and spotted this baby, I was buzzing.
Like my old Luke but a lot prettier.
A lot pricier too but hey ho.
Fortunately it was pre-owned and in mint condition.
The quality knocked me out and the tone was just what I wanted.
Whether clean and atmospheric or dirty and heavy, this guitar was a dream.

Early days but I'm very chuffed.

Thanks guys, I definitely feel very fortunate.

Something I've noticed recently, is that all my guitars have headstock designs that allow the strings to run straight onto the tuner posts. No bending to left or right, or needing string trees. It's not something I've consciously looked out for. Kinda cool really.

Simply gorgeous Luke! Love the color, top and the pearl keys! I'm like you, had a Luke years a go and let it go for some idiot reason. Just snapped up an LIII and am back in luv!
Congrats!

And yes locking tuners equal greatness!

I think you misunderstood me. I was referring to the design of the headstock, allowing the strings to run straight on, at the nut (no kinks, bends or trees), to the tuner posts.

All 5 of my guitars have this, only 2 have locking tuners. Which are great BTW.:)

Cheers. And yes, sometimes GAS has got the better of me and a gem has slipped through the net.

All better now though
