Nice one Mike. Been on a bit of a roll of late eh!

A bit of one...actually I returned the JPX <shame>. It was very killer in everyway, problem is I've wanted a Luke for so long and I knew if I kept the JPX it would be a very long time before I could swing another guitar.

Thanks again Scott. Hadn't noticed that blue pearl was discontinued. Great color, I have it in the Luke I got from you and a Silhouette.

Of all the guitars on the planet. ERnie Ball and all...
My Luke Piezo is truly my FAVORITE guitar. Period.

You will love it. Heres a tip for your piezo:

Surprised you took back the JPX to get the Luke... obviously it is completely a matter of personal preference, but the JPX is the best guitar ever made, ever. :D

Not forgeting the other trick with the piezo, especialy when on full overdrive but works on all other amp settings too,put the selector onto both(piezo and EMG) and back the piezo down by about 20% and you finish up with a very good bluesy, glassy F*ndery kind of sound, bright with loads of sparkly twangy compression and tight bottom end and expression.Works a treat at gig volume on every EMG pup position.

I have/had wanted a Luke for many years. Everytime one would be avail, I wouldn't have the money. I picked up the JPX, but soon after I had to leave town to welcome my son home from a long deployment to the middle east and africa. I was nearing the end of the 30 day trial period at GC and still had not given the guitar a fair chance, but was not 100% sure I liked the finished neck, and knew this might be my last guitar purchase (see signature). So I returned it and a day or two later searched the WTS thread and found this Luke.

Thank you for that tip. Do you run the piezo thru a separate amp?
