I ordered this one late last year and it finally arrived!

I love my standard Majesty and this one delivers more of the same awesomeness. Like any Majesty, the playability, access, and ergonomics are superb. The design of these guitars is my all-time favorite.

There is a thread about differences between the tone of the standard and Artisan Majesties and I have posted my impressions there, but here is a brief summary of what I wrote there:

The tone of my Artisan is bright, chimey, "hard", and solid. It sounds fantastic clean, especially the neck humbucker and the middle (both humbuckers) position with a chimey warm PAF-like tone perfect for jazz with the volume rolled back. Perhaps the most perfect clean neck humbucker tone I have ever heard. With gain, the harmonics that jump out are snarly and have lots of bite and seem to be more focused in the upper midrange.

Obviously, with the volume knob up full and amp gain, it sounds terrific as one would expect.

Add in the piezo sounds and this is a really versatile and great sounding guitar.

Congrats on the new guitar! I've been enjoying mine since mid-October. If I wasn't such a sucker for blue, I would've gotten the color that you have.

Very nice!! I want one but I'm worried about the gold hardware I know it's going to wear off and make me angry but I prefer the artisan to the standard. Wish I could get one with the nickel hardware.
