They each have their strengths. For heavier stuff and jazzier clean sounds, especially on the humbucker, the koa BFR Luke has a beautiful depth and solidity to its tone.

For clean twang, cluck, snap, sparkle, and general overall sweetness, the regular alder Luke is amazing. It is very light in weight compared to the other two. I've never played a guitar with as much personality. This is quickly becoming my go-to because it is just so much fun to play.

And the regular BFR shares features of both. Not as rich and deep as the koa, and not as light, airy, and poppy as the regular, but very smooth and versatile in a sophisticated way.

And of course, playability wise, they are all EBMMs. What more can I say?
