Hello,
new to the forum, but I thought I'd register to find out the DOB for my newly aquainted Axis hardtail (did that in the appropriate thread).
Yesterday I traded my AVRI'62 strat for a new red Axis hardtail. Yes, it is in fact new, it has been hanging in a very local musicstore for more than 10 years, but most people around here play gibbies and strats. What else is new...
This is a picture I made with flash last night. The color obviously is deeper than the picture shows, but weather permitting I'll take some pictures in daylight soon.
The guitar plays like a dream and is very light. In fact it is lighter than a friend's hardtail Axis.
I only had to adjust intonation on 2 or 3 strings. Neck relief and action were spot on already.
I had to clean it up though...so many years in the shop made it dusty
It will accompany my Gibson SG standard and my Fender Baja telecaster.
