After having to sell a few things this past year I got a couple of great scores in the last few days. Got the SUB for $200 on CL. The Silhouette Special was an eBay for $500. Might be a little high for the condition, but $500 SS's are hard to come by. As a side note, I love the replacement Dimarzio Virtual Hot PAF...

Congrats, man.
These are just players. You can't go wrong for that price!
Plus, you don't have to be afraid of that first ding. :D
I like the idea of buying a worn in silo for a good price and don't have to worry about pristine condition as long as it plays good.

The Silo almost looks like a flat charcoal color or flat black. Yeah, I love the idea if not having to worry about dinging it up. It's really cool cause I had to sell most of my stuff last year right before Christmas. Now I just need an amp...hmmm

Glad things are on the up and up for you. I don't think I've seen a silo in that color but the black on black with the flat and gloss looking pickguard contrast looks really good. Particularly with the rosewood.
