I was awestruck by this JP online. I just went for it. SO PERTTTTTTY!!!

Ya know what? As firsts posts to the forum go, and one that I have to moderate at that, that's pretty awesome!

Welcome to the family and congratulations on a gorgeous guitar!

BTW, if ever you can ever put it down for a few minutes, we need more photos! :)

I got to spend some time with it today.

It's extremely well made. The finish was immaculate, and the attention to detail reminded me of some nice high-end Suhr guitars I've played. It's gonna take a while for me to get used to the thin neck. It's by far the thinnest in my collection, but still it's very comfortable. I was expecting super-high output pickups with tons of bottom end, but it's not really. Perhaps it's because this guitar is all mahogany, the bottom is tight, and doesn't have a saggy bloom I'm used to with some of the vintage style guitars I'm used to. It has sort of a "dry" sound that's going to make me practice more because it reveals any wonk playing. I'm not usually a high-gain player, so I have to do some sound searching with it. It does sound REALLY nice though, and it's really fun to play.

Congratulations! That's hands down the sexiest and classiest JP ever. Gotta love that finish. The neck looks incredible too. Well done sir!!
