Thanks guys! Put it through it's gears last night at rehearsal...it sounds absolutely fabulous through both the Mesa and silverface Champ (how could it not, it's an AL!), with a little more meat to it in comparison to the regular AL.
Plugged it into my mate's Cornell Romany and was in tone heaven!

I'm actually surprised about the weight...after a lot of comments here on the forums I thought it was a lot heavier.
If time and weather allow I'll try and take a couple outdoor shots today.

Congrats Patrick, awesome BFR AL,looks kille and I know it sounds fantastic, man you sir now have alot of AL's, lost count, congrats again:cool:

Lost count, too...;)
To be honest I'm thinking about letting one of the SSS hardtails go, not sure which one though. Tough decision but I guess it'll be old pinky...

Well, congrats, that guitar is a gorgeous beast!!!

@ Coffeemug: Have mine as well since yesterday, will take pics shortly. And yes, I was absolutely surprised by the weight - THAT tone, and so light.

^ Awesome, judging from the pics in the BFR thread yours has quite a stunning quilt top, too...can't wait for the pics!

Have to take some more shots that capture the pink portion of the burst...kinda hard to photograph!

Thanks again for all the responses guys!

OK, finally found a couple of minutes for some outdoor shots...man, that color sure is hard to capture...tried it in bright sunlight and the pics turned neon pink! Those are the best I managed to shoot in a rush...
