So I just fell in to my second EBMM, and my new #1. I figured you all would appreciate it. I know it's not a 'real' BFR, but I've simply fallen in love, and I'll hear no bad-mouthing about my girl! Though, if anyone has a proper name for the color, let me know, because all I can come up with is burgundy-ish.

And some blurry photos with my other 'Rareish' EBMM; Autumn Redburst Silhouette; one of 4 made in the color.

Very awesome and it certainly is a BFR instrument. Don't let anyone tell you different.

There are a lot of misinformed people that argue that the standard models with rosewood necks are not BFR's bc they do not share the same features as normal BFR's. What they fail to realize is that EBMM does special runs with different features such as the rosewood necks, roasted necks, dargies, etc. that are all considered BFR instruments. Simply put if it has a BFR inlay and a COA it's a BFR.

Congrats on catching quite a rare bird...I had one just like yours and have to say it is a fantastic guitar, cabernet pearl is such a great colour and a perfect match with the rosewood neck. Plus, it sounds and plays like a million bucks :)

Cab Pearl is one of the most beautiful color options EBMM ever offered...I'm so glad I got one before it was deleted. Looks great on your Luke...a rare and special axe you have....Congrats!

BFR guitars come at different price points and are sought of EB's way of doing a CS run and just like any other companies CS guitars THEY fall into different price points. As long as it has the COA it is a BFR. Now congrats on the Luke as that finish is wickedly beautiful and only the second time I have seen it on a guitar, along with the RW neck you scored a honey!

I spent some time today setting it up, floating the bridge, and putting a couple springs under the pickup screws to allow me to adjust them properly (you'd think it would have that from the factory). Drop dead stunner of a guitar!

On a side note, I also picked up the new Digitech Hardwire Polyphonic tuner with it; best tuner I've had the pleasure of putting on my pedal board. I'd recommend it for anybody looking for a tuner.
