Pulled the trigger on a near mint (as described) AX30D in Cherry Burst Quilt. Has original EVH pups. I will add Schaller M6 locking tuners and call it a day. While I have never been a Cherry Burst fan, I'll give it some time to grow on me. This will be my second Sterling with USA Dimarzios...2017 LK100D in Black Sparkle.

Can anyone give me some history on this model? Years of production, colors? I like to know the details of models I own.

Perhaps I should clarify...it has the USA made Axis pups, which, were the ones designed for EVH...yes/no?
Same ones that I have/had in my Axis SS and Albert Lees...
