So here it is guys. After few problems with wiring, all resolved, I am now fully enjoying this beauty.
Silent circuit removed, superswitch replaced with standard one and stock pups replaced with:

dimarzio air norton NECK
dimarzio injector MIDDLE
dimarzio crunch lab BRIDGE

It sings, rips, shreds and whatever else I want... :D

I tried a Crunchlab in my PDN Mahogany Silo Special and it was really muddy sounding so I switched it up for a Suhr Aldrich and now it roars, great pickup. The mahogany body and Crunchlab I don't think are a good combo. I'd be interested to hear it in alder.

Thanks for comments guys. I recorded a short sample which actually is a new track for my band. This was played on jvm410h, out to line 6 ux2 via XLR line out. Clean part position 3, riffs are a combo of neck and bridge.

Don't have a live recording yet, but trust me, this thing sounds massive in neck and bridge, yet sweet and crisp in all the positions between. Something I missed when I owned JP6, now sorted:D

That guitar looks great. 2 questions:
1. How well does the Injector "quack" in the in-between positions?
2. How do you like the Air Norton single neck? Does it sound at all like the Air Norton humbucker?

Thanks.

1. You definitely get a lot of quack from the in between positions, very strat like with own character though, not too brutal as the whole set would suggest.
2. Can't do a side by side comparison but I'm extremely happy with what I get out of it. Cuts very well through the mix, love the way it sounds on my jvm set to light crunch + tube screamer in front, man it's sweet believe me :D

I used to be an axis man for a long time, sold one of them to buy the silhouette.
Yesterday, being put in front of decision what to sell to afford all the mortgage fees I sold my second axis and left the silo.
The whole guitar feels great, and the set new pups makes it really shine.

Sweet! Very nice job indeed! I am not bonding as much as I hoped with my JPXI, so this might be the way to go. Totally in love with my Axis though but not sure it makes sense having two identical guitars. Decisions, decisions....

Ha ha I knew this one will turn some heads :D
It's a nicest silo I've seen so far, especially with matching headstock and new pickups it does attract a lot of attention.
Glad u guys like it!
