Pretty much the results I expected, chrome for the win! Looks like I might have a set of blacks for sale........

Thanks for the input everyone.

Loving this guitar so far, great little rocker!

So, what is the tone difference between the sport and the 25th¿
Now, to the pup's. While I think that the chrome would be the first choice, the problem I see is this.
The covers take up more space, are bigger is what I mean so, I wonder if they may not look
a little odd on that small body. This was the reason that I never put covers on my red ASS.

Great guitar!!

Great guitar!!

The Guitar Center limited edition Axis from a couple of years back had chrome pickup covers. Those looked great! Tried to find a pic of a red one, but no luck. Red looked really good on that model.

Tough call. I'm leaning towards black.

In my twisted & overly analytical mind...I think black open coils go along with it not having binding & fit the overall vibe of simplicity.

But if it had binding...I would say that the chome covered pickups would fit in better.

Just my opinion...I think.

I haven't had a chance to a/b them yet, but off the top of my head I would say that the 25th is a little more resonant and has a rounder and spongier sound quality to it, while the Sport is a little more focused a little more snappy and percussive sounding but still very warm.

Awesome guitar.....there is no wrong choice......I am usually a stock man.., however, I do think I could make an exception for the chrome in this case....!!! I love the looks of this guitar!!!!

i think the chrome will bring some life back to it visually, all black seems a bit dull to me,
